Phantom Manor at Disneyland Paris is an omnimover ghost train, haunted house hybrid, it is the Parisian version of The Haunted Mansion ride at other Disney Parks but this ride has been tailored for a European audience.

What we thought of Phantom Manor
The preshow is a ride in itself, stepping into Ravenswood manor you are led in a room with paintings lining the walls, Vincent Price is narrating which is ICONIC and a real treat as the room starts to stretch and you arrive in the basement.
The queue line again is stunning, I implore you not to rush and to enjoy all the portraits, the metal work and the furniture dotted around to really transport you to an abandoned manor house.
Stepping on the ride you have to have your wits about you as the track doesn’t stop, you can fit two adults into a carriage, and they are slightly domed, so you feel slightly cocooned and private which is a nice respite from the chaos that is Disney!
Travelling through the ride you are spun to face different scenes that follow the story of the phantom and his bride, you meet many ghoulish characters along the way, highlights are the ballroom scene and the village.
Conclusion
I love this attraction, you can ride it multiple times and see something new each time but, it does stop, a lot! I think this is to do with people not being able to get in and out of the cars quickly enough.
Spooky wholesome fun for all the family, incredible theming, it’s a must when visiting Disney
