Built in the 17th century you travel up to 400 meters underground deep into the Chiltern hills, these labyrinthine tunnels lead you through chambers and caves and culminates at the inner temple.
Who Were The Hellfire Club
Nothing to do with Eddie Munson, this Hellfire Club was a secret brotherhood comprised of people from high society and scattered across 18th Century Britain and Ireland. Rumour has it the club took part in blasphemic rituals at the caves and along with drunken parties and obscene orgies to honour the pagan gods.
The clubs motto “Do what thou wilt” was adopted by infamous occultist Aleister Crowley.
